NAC, Inc. Receives Hermes Awards for Third Consecutive Year

Duncansville, PA April 19, 2016 – NAC, Inc., one of the nation’s largest direct mail manufacturers, has been honored with four Hermes Creative Awards from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The company received a Platinum Award for its 2015 United Nation’s Global Compact Communication on Progress, It’s not what we do; it’s who we are, Gold for overall website excellence and two Honorable Mentions in both web copywriting and tradeshow exhibit execution.

With over 6,000 entries to judge, industry professionals look for companies whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as an industry benchmark. Sponsored by the AMCP, the international competition attracts entries from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.

Winners are selected from 195 categories grouped under advertising, publications, marketing/branding, integrated marketing, public relations/communications, electronic media and pro bono. About 15% of entries win the Platinum Award, the organization’s top honor and around 20% of the entries take home the Gold Award. Duncansville, PA May 12, 2015North American Communications (NAC) was among the winners of the 2015 Hermes Creative Awards competition. They received both a Gold award and an Honorable mention for their 2014 outdoor advertising campaigns. NAC’s winning campaigns focused on recruitment and honoring the company’s 35th year anniversary.

With over 6,000 entries to judge, industry professionals look for companies whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as an industry benchmark. Sponsored by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), the international competition attracts entries from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.

The Gold Award is presented to those entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm. Approximately 22 percent of the entries received this award and 11 percent were Honorable Mention winners.

In his new role, he will oversee the financial and accounting functions as well as developing an economic strategy companywide. “We are pleased to have Charles joining our executive team,” said President Rob Herman. “His impressive background and proven track record in international business makes him a great fit for his new role.” Previously, Haenig was employed at PPG Industries where he held several positions including Director of Finance and Manager of Latin American Finance and Foreign Exchange. North American Communications Wins Gold at PIMA Mid-Year Meeting

Duncansville, PA July 30, 2014 – The Professional Insurance Marketing Association (PIMA), recently named the winners of its annual Marketing Methods Competition at the Mid-Year Meeting & Trade Show in Napa, California. North American Communications (NAC) received the Gold award for their “Need for Speed” Brand Awareness Campaign in the Marketing Methods Competition.

PIMA Marketing Methods awards are the most prestigious of their kind and are presented to members whose direct marketing efforts display outstanding marketing and creative strategy while delivering measurable results. This year’s expert panel of judges consisted of Jennifer Day, KBM Group; Chuck La Tournous, Prudential; and Deana Palmer, NASW Assurance Services.

NAC submitted a campaign that created brand awareness, drove leads to tradeshow exhibit and increased website traffic. The objective behind “Need for Speed” was to differentiate the company from the competition while bridging the gap between online and offline media.

President Rob Herman also presented the campaign in the PIMA Judge’s Choice Session. The session was for those entries that the judges found particularly interesting. NAC was one of three companies who were asked to describe their winning entry in more detail. “We pride ourselves in telling our story in a way that creates a meaningful experience and ignites real conversation to better understand the needs of our clients,” said Herman. “It is such an honor to be named a Gold winner in the competition.”

Gold, Silver, Bronze and Honorable Mention awards are based on a minimum point threshold. Judging is based upon Marketing Strategy (25%), Creative Execution (25%) and Results (50%).

North American Communications Wins ‘Award for Excellence’

Duncansville, PA July 9, 2013 – North American Communications (NAC) was among the winners in the Association of Marketing Service Provider’s (AMSP) ‘2013 Awards for Excellence.’ The Pennsylvania based company, received second place in the Chairman’s Self-Promotion Award category, for their “Speed and Power in Direct Mail” postcard.

AMSP Awards for Excellence are presented annually to members of the association who have displayed creativity and innovation. Comprised of over 500 members, all are encouraged to enter their best mailings, campaigns, and/or projects.

NAC entered their winning piece into the ‘Chairman’s Self-Promotion Award’ category, which identifies the best single-piece mailing for self-promotion. The promotional awards recognize concept, design, printing and overall effectiveness of direct mail pieces. The aim of the campaign was to market NAC’s Key Value Services while bridging the gap between offline and online media. With the utilization of a QR code linked to an online brochure, NAC was able to connect the recipient to a visual representation of each service.

NAC Receives ‘Franklin Award for Excellence’

NAC Receives Award in Neographics Regional Printing Competition

Duncansville, PA April 23, 2013 – North American Communications (NAC) was recognized again for outstanding achievement in the Neographics 2013 Power of Print® Competition. Competing against hundreds of entries from printing and graphic firms throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, NAC received the ‘Franklin Award for Excellence’ for their Speed and Power in Direct Mail brochure.

The competition, sponsored by the Graphic Arts Association in Philadelphia, is one of the nation’s largest regional graphic communications contests in which graphic arts, packaging, converting, design and publishing excellence is selected and showcased. Judging occurred over several teams who examined the finished product as well as how the job was performed. The number of colors, press size and printing process determine winners for overall design, successful completion, pre-press preparation and finishing.

NAC’s winning design was entered into the ‘Brochures 4+ colors’ category. With a clear marketing campaign and captivating photos taken by Hollidaysburg native, Matt Furman, NAC received the ‘Franklin Award for Excellence.’ The Speed and Power in Direct Mail brochure illustrated the company’s value added services and capabilities.
