In addition to
sending and receiving files, a popular use of FTP is to transfer proofing files
from our plant to your office. These proofing files are "digital bluelines" -
the next step in advancing prepress technology. We have created a test file for you
that explains this procedure in more detail.
To properly view the test file, you must first download the Adobe Acrobat
Reader from the Adobe Corporation's web site. Click on the link at the
bottom left to get the FREE
reader. Acrobat
creates a file in PDF format. PDF files are viewed the same on all computer platforms.
After the reader is installed, please revisit this page and click on the
disk icon at the bottom right for the test
file download.
Once you have downloaded and installed the reader, click on this link to download the PDF
file. Save the file on your computer, close your browser, and open the file. Acrobat
reader will start and you will be able to view the file and the program tour that we have
created for you in PDF format. You can also print out the file to your local printer for
viewing at a later time.
