Specific details on each position are listed below:

Documentation Intern

Primary purpose of this position:  Assist with the documentation of administrative and technical processes throughout the facility.

Essential functions of the position include but are not limited to:

  • Take detailed procedural notes
  • Analyze the observational notes of others on a process and translate them into formal procedural notes
  • Follow company documentation standards

Education, skills and abilities include but are not limited to:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to organize information in a sequential manner
  • Ability to take direction
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as directed
  • Meet frequent deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks

Print and Paper Purchasing Estimator

Primary Purpose of this position:  Responsible for negotiating paper pricing and binding the company with third party vendors for the purchase of paper and outside printing for our NAC production facilities.

Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Purchase all paper for jobs produced at NAC
  • Obtain, review, bid prices and terms with vendors
  • Negotiate prices with vendors
  • Research Market for best pricing
  • Ensure paper is purchased and delivered in a timely manner according to schedules
  • Purchase components that NAC cannot produce from outside vendors
  • Complete Purchase Orders and proper inventory history reporting
  • Enter work orders for components NAC is to produce in house

Education, Skills and Abilities include but are not limited to:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in a Direct Mail Manufacturing Environment is a must
  • Ability to handle client issues tactfully
  • Ability to multi-task and remain organized
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong mathematical skills

Data Processing Programmer:

Primary purpose of this position:This position is responsible to screen and process jobs, put jobs into production, and create letter writers to print customer data on forms.

 Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

Screen and process jobs

  • Identify potential problems at initial set up to prevent downtime later
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in processing
  • Follow client Lettershop instructions
  • Document all processing steps and output files of each step
  • Ensure flow proceeds according to schedule

Create letter writers to print customer data on forms

  • Ensure 100% accuracy of information to ensure the sample meets client specifications
  • Ensure all variable data pulls from the file and prints 100% correctly
  • Create electronic PDF’s of output for QA and Client review
  • Print hardcopy of signoff to make sure all prints line up on the form
  • Ensure all fonts printing are correct

Put Jobs into Production

  • Achieve 100% accuracy
  • Meet deadlines

Work with customer files

  • Perform numerous counts on files with 100% accuracy
  • Ensure there are no errors within the Customer data
  • Ensure that all fields that are printable are 100% populated
  • Follow Client instructions and apply any updates to the data file
  • Meet specific postal requirements

Education, Skills and Abilities include but are not limited to:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Two year certification from college or technical school in a computer related area, or equivalent experience with computer programming or data processing
  • Once year related experience/training
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks
  • Utilize creativity
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment
  • Maintain a high level of record keeping/routine paperwork
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under high pressure and meet production standards

Direct Mail Manufacturing Supervisor

Shifts:  2nd and 3rd

Primary purpose of this position:  Responsible to assist and oversee production and provide assistance and direction to Associates in the Direct Mail production process.

Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the flow of materials in and out of all production areas on the shift
  • Operate machines when needed
  • Maintain all shift documentation and inspection records
  • Verify jobs and inspect materials for qualify defects and other issues
  • Supervise production Associates
  • Maintain daily communication and ongoing constructive feedback with Management
  • Work directly with Production Associates and Production Management

Education Skills and Abilities include but are not limited to:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years or more related experience managing/supervising and/or five to ten or more years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Direct Mail Manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks
  • Maintain a high level of decision-making
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment
  • Maintain a high level of record keeping/routine paperwork
  • Strong attention to detail

Production Mechanic

Primary purpose of this position: Responsible to perform troubleshooting, repairs, and set-up on all production based machines to ensure they are running to standard.

Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshoot and repair production machines
  • Perform preventative maintenance on production machines
  • Set-up machines for new jobs
  • Assist in training new machine operators and mechanics
  • Operate machines when needed
  • Perform other related duties as required

Education, skills, and abilities include but are not limited to:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience/training
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
  • Communicate clearly and consistently
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
