Specific details on each position are listed below:

Electrical Mechanic

Shifts: 2nd and 3rd

Primary purpose of this position: Repair and rebuild manufacturing machinery and perform general maintenance on machinery.

Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

Repair and maintain all electrical components and machinery as assigned

    • Repair any safety hazard immediately
    • Rebuild electric motors when it is cost effective to do so
    • Repair failures of production equipment
    • Ensure maximum equipment efficiency

Perform safety checks on machinery as assigned

    • Ensure machinery meets safety standards

Install new electrical circuits or upgrade as assigned

    • Ensure all electrical safety standards are met

Education, Skills and Abilities include but are not limited to:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification from college or technical school preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
  • Must be dependable
  • Ability to communicate
  • Ability to multi-task

Digital Print Operator

Shift: 2nd

Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Operating production level ink jet press
  • Produce accurate and high quality printed materials in compliance with job specifications
  • Maintain quality control from job to job
  • Keeping track of stock and machine consumables

Education, Skills and Abilities include but are not limited to:

Security Guard

Schedule:  3rd Shift (11pm-7am)

Primary purpose of this position: Responsible to monitor personnel entering and exiting the facility, monitor the security camera system and access systems inside and outside of the facility, and patrol the inside of the facility.  This position is also responsible to report and respond to any situation which breaches company security.

Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

     Monitor personnel entering and exiting the facility

  • Prevent the unauthorized entry into the facility

     Monitor the security camera system

  • Check surveillance system on a consistent basis

     Patrol inside of the facility

  • Patrol the interior of the facility on a routine basis
  • Identify security issues and inform management of the problem

Education, Skills and Abilities include but are not limited to:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Data Processing Quality Control Inspector:

Primary purpose of this position: Responsible for the inspection and proofing of electronic or hard-copy personalized records generated during the Data Processing and Programming.  The inspection process validates accuracy of data/copy/variable information against client instructions, supplied copy, input/output data, adherence to USPS mailing standards, and other applicable specifications for each component or mailing.

Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

Inspect product against job instructions and quality standards

  • Inspection of product for quality and accuracy against standards for elements including, but not limited to:
    • Proofing of copy and personalization to verify accuracy against customer supplied instructions
    • Verification of variables against instructions and data fields
    • Validation of accuracy of output vs. input data (processing and programming)
    • Adherence to USPS requirements and standards
    • Verification of text alignment, wrapping, font, spacing, barcode accuracy

Perform inspections in an efficient and effective manner

  • Ability to meet daily minimum daily productivity rates while maintaining accuracy
  • Ability to follow priorities and adjust work flow to meet changing demands
  • Ability to utilize electronic tools and programs related to management of work flow

Identify, report, and document quality discrepancies

  • Interact with programmers, customer service,  and management report issues and document resolutions
  • Provide reporting using established formats

Education, Skills and Abilities include but are not limited to:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years experience/training in Quality Control and plant experience preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, documents and information
  • Ability to recognize minor changes in text, images and alignment
  • Maintain a high level of record keeping/routine paperwork
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under high pressure and meet production standards
  • Establish personal growth goals
  • Meet frequent deadlines

Data Processing Programmer:

Primary purpose of this position:This position is responsible to screen and process jobs, put jobs into production, and create letter writers to print customer data on forms.

 Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

Screen and process jobs

  • Identify potential problems at initial set up to prevent downtime later
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in processing
  • Follow client Lettershop instructions
  • Document all processing steps and output files of each step
  • Ensure flow proceeds according to schedule

Create letter writers to print customer data on forms

  • Ensure 100% accuracy of information to ensure the sample meets client specifications
  • Ensure all variable data pulls from the file and prints 100% correctly
  • Create electronic PDF’s of output for QA and Client review
  • Print hardcopy of signoff to make sure all prints line up on the form
  • Ensure all fonts printing are correct

Put Jobs into Production

  • Achieve 100% accuracy
  • Meet deadlines

Work with customer files

  • Perform numerous counts on files with 100% accuracy
  • Ensure there are no errors within the Customer data
  • Ensure that all fields that are printable are 100% populated
  • Follow Client instructions and apply any updates to the data file
  • Meet specific postal requirements

Education, Skills and Abilities include but are not limited to:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Two year certification from college or technical school in a computer related area, or equivalent experience with computer programming or data processing
  • Once year related experience/training
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks
  • Utilize creativity
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment
  • Maintain a high level of record keeping/routine paperwork
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under high pressure and meet production standards

Formatting and Proofing Specialist:

NAC has a unique opportunity for a newly created position within our Direct Mail Industry!

Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Inspect product for quality and accuracy against Client Information
  • Proofing of copy and personalization to verify accuracy against customer supplied instructions
  • Verification of variables against instructions and data fields
  • Run audits on a plotter
  • Knowledge and adherence to Postal Requirements
  • Verify of text alignment, wrapping, font, spacing, barcode accuracy
  • Ability to understand and meet Client requirements
  • Interact with programmers, customer service, graphic designers
  • Report issues and document resolutions

Education, Skills and Abilities include but are not limited to:

  • Experience or Associates Degree in Graphic Artwork or related field preferred
  • Experience in Direct Mail Data Processing preferred
  • Ability to read a ruler
  • Ability to use a knife to cut product for validations
    Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to work methodically, accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent oral and verbal skills
